◆ A Brooks Brothers alpaca-lined vest from around the 1940s.

The neck looks good whether open or closed.

All buttons are original.

Features side adjusters with patterned needle-buckle.

I think it's gabardine twill fabric with a slightly plump feel.

The key point is the rare Brooks Brothers from this era, and the look fits well with work styles, etc.

There is some fading, stains, light soiling, and slight hand-sewn repairs on the seam, but there are no major noticeable issues, so I think it's a used item within the acceptable range for those accustomed to vintage items.

There are some hand-sewn repairs on the seam under both armpits. It is not visible from the front and I don't think it's noticeable.

There is slight hair loss on the alpaca part of the shoulders, hem, and seam edges, but it's unavoidable and in good condition without any damage.

The sewing threads of the 2nd and 4th buttons are loose, but they are left in their original condition. If handled carefully, they won't come off immediately, but if you are concerned, please sew them again.
