A starting concentration of 8.0% - 10.0% is recommended for most metal removal operations, with optimal concentrations varying based on the specific alloy. Always add VP850 to water. For reduced usage and enhanced performance, pre-mixing with water before filling the fluid system or adding make-up is advised. A calibrated refractometer should be used to determine the fluid concentration, with the formula: concentration (%) = % Brix (Refractive Index) x 1.8 (RI Multiplier).
