The 4530 Standard Duty Deadlatch provides versatile traffic control, enabling two-way access during specific hours for facilities like hospitals, banks, and stores. It's designed to fit existing stile cutouts for older models. Retract the spring-loaded latchbolt using the key or handle, then push it in and secure with a reverse key turn to allow free swinging. Compatible with standard mortise cylinders featuring an MS cam, it comes with a flat jamb strike and offers three backset options. Packaged individually with a strike and mounting screws, additional components are available separately.

• Retain Bolt: Secure door with reverse key turn while bolt is fully retracted
• Cylinder Backset: Choose from 7/8", 31/32", or 1-1/8"
• Case Dimensions: 1" x 5-13/16" x depth (varies by backset). Steel with corrosion-resistant coating
• Latchbolt Details: 1/2" x 1" x 1/2" throw. All metal with hardened steel pins. Reversible handing
