Antique 11½" Cobalt Blue Vase by R. Thomas & Son Pottery East Liverpool Ohio.
Primarily a manufacturer of electrical insulators, the R. Thomas & Son Pottery did produce a handful of other items. Among them, this stout and sturdy vase with one of the best blue glazes I've seen.
Condition: Excellent condition with no signs of damage or repair. Please see photos for details.
Age: I'm not certain of the exact decade, but the company was in operation from 1884 to 1927.
Markings: The mark on the bottom is light, but you can make it out just enough of it to confirm it's origin.
Country of Origin: Made in the USA (Ohio).
Materials: Pottery.
Measurements: Roughly 11½" tall.
Weight: 6 lbs. 2 oz.
