For abnormal sound detection, this camera for home security can detect babies crying, alarm sounds, barking and coughing. This feature enables you to record key events and trigger automations even during an internet outage.
- Hub & Matter Bridge- Wifi camera G5 Pro acts as a hub with both Aqara Zigbee (Not third-party Zigbee devices) and Thread dual protocols, it can connect up to 80 Aqara Zigbee Sub-devices or 40 thread sub-devices, or 20 Aqara Zigbee Sub-devices and 20 Thread sub-devices. This wifi security camera integrates third-party matter devices into the Aqara Home app and exposes existing Aqara devices to Matter-compatible platforms like Apple Home, Alexa, and Google Home. *Compatibility depends on device type, ecosystem support, and the presence of a Matter Controller.
- HomeKit Secure Video & Multiple Storage Methods- The home security camera G5 Pro supports HomeKit Secure Video (an active iCloud subscription and an Apple Home hub is required), features a built-in encrypted 8GB eMMC storage and supports Aqara Cloud, and RTSP with full End-to-End encryption for protection, G5 data is accessible by only you or your family. Note: 24/7 record is only supported with RTSP and store in your Local devices.
- DUAL-BAND WI-FI- The outdoor security camera G5 Pro Wi-Fi incorporates a dual-band 2.4/5GHz Wi-Fi module, which provides the flexibility to choose 2.4GHz for extended coverage, or 5GHz for the faster data transfer. In addition, it is compatible with the WPA3 standard for maximum security. For power, the home Camera G5 Pro Wi-Fi uses a 5V2A USB-C port for increased flexibility. Zigbee2MQTT and comparable third-party USB dongles are not officially supported by Aqara. Full product functionality may be limited or unavailable.
