- CERAMIC COATED SBC HEADERS: Steel block hugger headers finished with a ceramic coating applied for surface protection and durability on SBC block hugger header applications. Ceramic finish does not alter factory geometry or fitment.
- FITS TIGHT CLEARANCE BUILDS: Center-dump shorty block hugger headers for Gen 1 Small Block Chevy 265–400 V8 engines. Designed for tight clearance SBC headers in 1923–1949 street rods, 1955–1957 Tri-Five Chevys, and 1955–1959 Chevy and GMC trucks using front or custom engine mounts.
- CENTER DUMP BLOCK HUGGER DESIGN: Tight-tuck routing keeps primary tubes close to the block and above frame rails for early chassis layouts. Center dump block hugger headers exit below the center exhaust ports for traditional SBC configurations.
- NOT FOR LATER MOUNT STYLES: Not compatible with GM side engine mounts used from 1958–1972 or clamshell-style mounts introduced in 1973 and later. Collector placement interferes with factory crossmembers in those vehicles.
- CHECK FITMENT BEFORE INSTALL: Will not fit angle-plug cylinder heads or vehicles with steering boxes positioned directly beside the collector. Not listed for vehicles manufactured after 1959. Test-fitting is recommended prior to final installation.
