CRL's 888 Premium Grade Caulking is a versatile, butyl-based sealant designed for economical, low-maintenance, and watertight joints. It's easy to apply using standard manual caulking guns, with a non-stringy formula free from asbestos minerals. Once fully cured, it forms a flexible, weather-resistant seal that adheres to various surfaces. It can be applied within a temperature range of 40 to 120F (4 to 49C) and withstands changes from -20 to 200F (-29 to 93C). Suitable for exterior and interior construction units, under thresholds, aluminum siding, metal building panels, truck body joints, and more. It won't harden or crack over time, maintains color stability under UV exposure, and features a non-staining, solvent release formula. It takes two hours to be tack-free, is 90% cured in 21 days, and ready for painting after 24 hours.
