One of Dormer's National Pipe Taper taps (NPT), the E721 hand tap is manufactured conforming to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) from premium High Speed steel to give you superior performance and extended tool life. The Titanium Nitride coating gives a further boost to performance when threading under high friction and pressure. The E721 can be used to thread both through and blind holes, thanks to the straight flute design and the tap shows it's versatility as it can be used to thread a wide variety of materials including steels, stainless steels and aluminium.
