This exceptional piece is a classic example of early 20th-century Chinese craftsmanship, crafted from solid Hongmu (rosewood) with original brass hardware. It was originally used as an apothecary chest for traditional Chinese medicine, but its versatile design also makes it ideal for storing jewelry, antiques, or other small valuables.

• Material: Solid Hongmu (rosewood) with original brass corner protectors, handles, and lock fittings

• Structure: Cube-shaped cabinet with a removable front door, revealing 8 internal drawers of varying sizes. Some drawers feature built-in dividers for organized storage.

• Condition: The cabinet retains its original patina and wood grain. Minor age-related wear and a small crack on one side panel are present, and crack on the front panel. consistent with its century-old history. All drawers open smoothly, and key included.
