Easy Wood Tools 1/8″ 'Easy Parter' Parting Tool

Since 2011, I've been an admirer of Easy Wood tools, thanks to their durable carbide inserts. The three fundamental tools rougher, finisher, and detailer cover about 95% of a furniture maker's needs. However, a parting tool was absent until now. Easy Wood has introduced a new 1/8' parting tool that creates intricate details up to 1/8' wide, previously unattainable with the basic set. Like other Easy Wood tools, the Easy Parter features a replaceable carbide tooth, but it's changed using a key (included) instead of a screwdriver, taking just 20 seconds. These carbide inserts are remarkably long-lasting; with care, they can last through turning parts for up to 10 Roorkee chairs before needing a fresh edge. The Easy Parter operates like other Easy Wood tools, cutting smoothly and quickly. My sole criticism is that its cutting edge is about 3/16' higher than other Easy Wood tools, requiring a tool rest adjustment, but it's a minor inconvenience to avoid using a grinder.
