Famous Coronation Street wedding dress! size 12 used

Worn by Catherine Tyldesley (aka Eva Price) on-set of Coronation Street on the Tuesday, September 19, 2017 episode, during the double bill. The ceremony was dramatic, with Aidan confessing his affair with Maria Connor on the morning of the wedding, and Maria later storming the ceremony to fight Eva in a fountain. I never imagined I would wear a dress like this on my wedding day, but when I tried it on I fell completely in love with it. The children at my wedding reacted to me like I was something magical; like Cinderella at Disneyland or something! I think it's history just makes the dress that bit more interesting, and although I am definitely NOT as slim as Catherine Tyldesley, it fit me really well as a busty (E cup) size 12 - with a wide back. However, this dress obviously fit Catherine too thanks to the corset back, so I think a size 10 would be fine as well. I am 5'6" and wore flat shoes (I'm 46 and have no stamina for heels), and the length was great. I wore the dress all day with no rubbing and felt pretty comfortable! It moves extremely well for a big dress and I also danced my butt off on the dance floor until the very end! Honestly, I would love to keep it, but it would just live in my attic and never see the light of day again. This dress is really special and one of the best decisions I made about my wedding (other than marrying the best person I've ever met ;-))
