Welcome to highwood. Handsomely designed, the Hazleton Mailbox Post is the perfect solution to your curbside postal needs. Built to last with Highwood’s unique high-grade poly lumber, this post is unyielding to rot and deterioration. The strong, sturdy structure can be installed directly into the ground just like a regular wood post. Includes a shelf that can be used to either support the mailbox of your choice directly or used as a platform onto which your own mailbox adapter plate can support the mailbox. Please note that the MAILBOX IS NOT INCLUDED. Highwood high-grade poly lumber offers the most realistic look of natural wood WITHOUT the headaches of maintaining or replacing every few seasons. This product is assembled with 304-grade stainless steel hardware and comes with a manufacturer’s 12-year residential limited warranty. Some assembly is required (see assembly guide) assembled dimensions are 5"W x 58"H x 28"D (24lbs). For the easiest assembly, we recommend using a cordless screwdriver/drill or multi-bit handle for the enclosed Torx bit. The total length of the mailbox post is 76 7/8” long. We recommend you bury the post approximately 18” to insure the post stability. There should be approximately 58” of post remaining which meets postal requirements.
