"la favola," which started as a brand in 2015, mainly focusing on tailored items. As the name suggests, which means "story" in Italian, the brand hopes that people will weave their own stories through their clothes. The designer, Mr. Taira, has experience in buying for select shops. While drawing on the background of Italian tailoring, such as that of Naples and Florence, the classic yet modern, structured yet light tailoring is difficult to describe as either dress clothing or casual wear, and it is clothing that truly shows various expressions depending on the person wearing it. The beginning of la favola was when Mr. Taira himself tailored and wore clothes. It became popular with acquaintances in the same industry, and it started with bespoke tailoring using hand tailoring. Even now, Mr. Taira handles sewing, etc., for orders at bespoke events.
