OverviewThe Mastercool Visual Inspection Sight Glass is the fastest way to determine whether your vehicle's A/C system needs flushing — before you start any repair. Available for R134a (53376) and R1234yf (53376-YF) systems, both kits connect to high and low service ports via refrigerant-specific quick couplers and work with any standard vacuum pump or Recovery/Recycle/Recharge machine.How It WorksRun a 3-minute vacuum to prep the sight glass, then connect to the vehicle's A/C service ports and start the system. Slowly open the high side ball valve until the sight glass is one-quarter full of liquid refrigerant. Close the valve and allow the sample to stabilize. Compare the refrigerant color and condition against the included 10-condition contamination chart to identify: excess UV dye, leak tracing dye, moisture, carbonized oil particles, metal chips, compressor overheating, bad leak stop agent residue, aged seal compounds, flushing agent residue, or oil mixture imbalance. Once inspection is complete, safely return the full sample to the A/C system — no refrigerant waste.Key Design FeaturesPrecision ball valves on both sides provide complete, leak-free control throughout the process.
