This piece showcases a hand-painted design with vibrant roses and elegant script, dedicated to 'Mother To one who bears the sweetest name And adds luster to the same, long life to her, for theres no other who takes the place of my Dear Mother'. The reverse side reveals a label from Kennel Favorites, indicating it is the 'Scottie' design, (c)1983 Marsha A. Richardson, hand-painted by Blue Ridge Mountain Artisans and made in the USA by Aus-Ben Studios in Boone, NC. Additionally, the wood is inscribed with 'May 1986 Mothers Day'.
