Music Box From Enesco Vintage Mechanical Santa in Hot Air Balloon Plays & Moves

Santa has it all as he rides up and down and around in his red hot air balloon with gifts in the basket. The music box plays “Here Comes Santa Claus” and the miniatures around him are reminiscent of past Christmases with Christmas trees, little houses, a church and snow on the roof and ground and trees. Careful painting shows the detail of this town. There is a tiny Christmas bow on the front of the hot air balloon. The piece was made in Taiwan in 1980 on the bottom it is printed as well as the Enesco sticker. On the bottom, there is a key to turn, but don’t turn it too tight and then there is a little stem on the side of the base that you pull out and the music and the movement start at once. This is a very unique piece and it is, great to be able to pass it on in such good working condition. 9“ tall by 6” wide by 4” deep.
