My hood was filled with love, surrounded by family and friends. My grandparents owned a bakery and a movie theater. My mother was a seamstress and baker while my father ran a blacksmith workshop; they were hardworking people. I myself have a degree as a primary school teacher. From a young age, I loved keeping busy creating, which was key to developing my imagination and skills. At 21, I discovered my passion for ceramics and painting. Although the path was not easy, with perseverance and dedication I have been able to work in these wonderful art forms for over 30 years. Art has always been my passion, and my dream is to gain recognition for it. I want to continue learning and teach others, so they can find the same joy in artistic creation as I do. I???ve had many teachers throughout my life, and now I enjoy teaching others with enthusiasm and dedication. Over the course of my career, I???ve had the honor of being a guest judge in several school art events, as well as being interviewed on TV Azteca Guatemala to showcase my creations.
