These Orca Whales, mother and calf, are molded from Pellucida, a durable resin compound developed by the artist. They are then hand painted and airbrushed here in the Studio. The mother is about 6 inches long. Mounted on a polished burlwood base, the whole piece stands about 6 inches tall and 7 inches long. This is the what we call the Down-tail version. PLEASE NOTE; these photos are of samples for illustration. Each burl is a unique piece of nature's art, so the burl base on the piece you will receive will be different, but of similar size and comparable beauty. It is SIGNED and comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY.
