The polyester ripstop fabric is a durable and synthetic fabric that is perfect for all types of indoor and outdoor use. This fabric is 200 denier, 100% polyester with a moderate stiff finish and 58/60” inches wide. It is a light-weight fabric with special fibers used within the weave at specific points, allowing for the fabric to have superior quality and hold against all types of damage and tear. This fabric is also coated with a nanotechnology film called DWR (durable water repellent). DWR allows for the ripstop to be water-repellent, withstanding above-average water exposures. The polyester ripstop is also very malleable, allowing for a great deal of adaptability. And because it is a polyester, it naturally dries quicker oppose to the nylon dwr, as polyester fibers do not absorb water. Alongside this, it is has a more distinct feel and hold, being heavier and having more structure to it.
