This futon mattress is a Cotton Cloud original. It is an extremely lush handcrafted futon designed to be used as a bed. Our meticulous attention to detail ensures this futon will provide a sleeping surface conducive to deep undisturbed sleep for years to come. This futon is ideally suited to be used every day as as your primary sleeping surface. The addition of wool makes sleeping on this futon like sleeping on a cloud. This approximately 8" futon is made of 4 layers of Certified Organic Cotton Batting sandwiched between sheets of 1.8 density solid Certipur Foam produce an ideal balance of support, comfort and resiliency. The core of this futon is a sheet of 2” 1.8 density Certipur solid foam. 2 additional sheets of one 1” 1.8 density Certipur solid foam are layered between cotton above and below. A fluffy layer of high quality wool is the final layer, which enhances bodily warmth in winter and coolness in summer. All of the materials are protected by a heavy outer shell that features double-stitched seams. Our futons are tufted in order to keep all of the materials in place. This futon comes in an Organic Cotton Shell.
