The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the entire length of the work piece's thread by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (i.e., it's defective). A reference temperature of 20°C applies to both work pieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate. The calibration process, conducted in a lab independent of VÖLKEL's production, adheres to specified guidelines and standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC-Gewindescanner.
