The VSH Shurjoint 7706E Reducing Coupling, designated for model 7706 with a Grade E EPDM gasket, facilitates direct reduction in piping runs, eliminating the need for concentric reducers and couplings. Its uniquely designed rubber gasket prevents smaller pipes from telescoping into larger ones during vertical installation. Each coupling consists of two identical housing segments, an EPDM rubber gasket, and plated track bolts and nuts. The housing segments come with standard painted finishes, typically orange or red.
