All components are made of the highest quality polypropylene to assure low protein binding. Rack cover has an alphanumeric numbering system for identifying each tube and is supplied with a removable, 96-place ID card for recording sample location. Grids are available in blue, green, red and yellow for color coding of samples. A support at each corner allows grids to stand on the lab bench, ice bath, etc. The grids are also alphanumerically labeled. Autoclavable, polypropylene tubes are available in individual or 8-strip designs. Tubes have gross volumes of 1.4 mL and a volume of 1.1 mL when a cap is used. Polyethylene caps available in 8-strip caps.
