These hydrometers are used to determine the specific gravity of soil in the range of 0.995 to 1.038, or -5 to 60 g/L (using a weight by volume scale). Made of lead free ballast and glass, these 280mm (11”) long hydrometers conform to the accuracy requirements of ASTM hydrometers. Each is individually serialized and has a temperature standardization of 68 degrees F/68 degrees F.
