This is a "Replica 1908 Yellow Teddy Bear" made by Steiff in 2006, a world limited edition of 3,000.
In 1908, Otto Steiff created a sample collection of colorful teddy bears for Harrods in England. However, four of them, pink, yellow, green, and black teddy bears, were never actually sold.
This teddy bear is a replica of the yellow bear, the second in the Steiff series released in 2006. It is 13.75 inches (approx. 33cm) tall, has 5 joints, is made of yellow mohair, and has tan felt paw pads. The nose and mouth are hand-stitched. The eyes are shoe button type, and a white satin ribbon indicates it is a limited edition. It comes with a certificate and is number 289 of the 3,000 worldwide.
It is in excellent, like-new condition and will be delivered in the original magnetic box and with the limited edition certificate. Please see the photos for details of the condition.
