Foxx Life Sciences' EZgrip Amber HDPE Carboys meet USP <671> requirements for light transmission, to allow for safe storage of photosensitive materials. The carboys are molded from a USP Class VI, Grade resin with excellent chemical resistance, making them ideal for most buffers and reagents as well as powders and solids. The EZgrip Carboy's ergonomically designed body includes large top handles and molded hand grips in the base to allow the user to easily handle the carboy during lifting, filling, and pouring. VersaCap technology provides interchangeable, leakproof top connections. VersaBarbs are available in a variety of hose barb sizes, for easy customization of the carboy's spigot opening. The EZgrip Carboy features include easy-to-read metric graduation marks certified to +/-5% accuracy, and the carboy size and material are molded into the side for easy identification. The 120 mm EZfil neck is available on 20 L and 40 L carboys, for easier filling and cleaning. VersaCaps, VersaBarbs, and spigots are autoclavable. The recommended autoclaving cycle is 20 minutes at 15 PSI and 121°C (250°F).. VersaCap technology provides the flexibility of interchangeable top connections.
