"Godzilla (1995) Last Scene" was released as a garage kit in 2019, a milestone year bridging the Heisei and Reiwa eras, by Yuji Sakai Modeling Workshop as a Heisei memorial work.
This time, the work joins the popular "Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection" series as a new release, using the same original prototype as the garage kit, now as a painted soft vinyl figure.
As the name suggests, this work perfectly recreates the impactful image of Godzilla roaring in the last scene of the movie "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah" (released in 1995), bathed in backlight, as masterfully sculpted by Mr. Yuji Sakai.
Features of Godzilla (1995), such as the thick chest and powerful legs, are faithfully sculpted, bringing the power of the film to life.
As you know, Mr. Sakai participated in the film "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah" as a modeling staff member, and the image of Godzilla (1995) that he witnessed up close on the set is faithfully reproduced based on his treasured photos, making this a work filled with his special affection.

The Godzilla Store limited edition features a special specification commemorating the 30th anniversary of "Godzilla vs. Destoroyah," which was released on December 9, 2024, expressing the state of the body's various parts glowing, which is impressive in the film.
This Godzilla from the last scene, which makes you think of Junior, who was given life by Deathgodzilla, reviving as a new Godzilla, is a reproduction of Deathgodzilla in the burning colors because the Deathgodzilla suit was actually used for filming, making it a charming work different from the last scene coloring.
Transparent molded parts are used for the light-emitting parts, and silver paint is applied from the inside to reproduce the image of the light emission in the film.

This time as well, Mr. Sakai's cast prototype was converted to wax, and a master mold was produced.
The product uses only those molded from the master mold, minimizing wear and tear from soft vinyl, and focusing on reproducing the details as much as possible.
