Released in 1955 as the standard lens for the Leotax F or T. Topcor is a lens from Tokyo Kogaku, which manufactured optical equipment for the pre-war Japanese army, and this is the late-model collapsible, recessed 50mm f/3.5. The lens is a Tessar type and the mount is Leica L mount. The build quality is also good, and the late model especially produces excellent images.
The exterior shows some scratches on the lens barrel, but is otherwise in good condition.
Operation is good in all aspects.
Optically, it is clear and sharp. There is no oil on the aperture blades.
Includes a filter, hood, and rear cap.
