Just calculate how much resin you'll need, gather additional items, and make your masterpiece!To Calculate How Much Epoxy You’ll Need: Measure the area to be filled with epoxy: Multiply the Length x Width X Depth to estimate the volume in cubic inches. 1 qt. mixed epoxy = 57.75 cu. in.; 2 qts. mixed epoxy = 115.5 cu. in.; 3 qts. mixed epoxy = 173.25 cu. in.; and 1 gal. mixed epoxy = 231 cu. in.You'll Also Need: Wood for the river table; Wood (2 by 4s), drill, screws, & screwdriver for building a mold; Buffer/polisher; and Acetone or denatured alcohol to use as a solvent wipe. NOTE: Use acetone for white oak or oily hardwoods because it removes surface oil & improves adhesion.
