Once upon a time, trains were the swiftest mode for medium and long-distance travel, making them indispensable for various purposes. Visiting someone, exploring new places, commuting to work or school - trains were the go-to option. Their speed was remarkable, but it was their ability to carry immense weight at unprecedented speeds that truly set them apart from horse-drawn carriages. Trains became the primary means of transporting goods and raw materials like lumber, coal, and steel. They played a pivotal role in our progress. However, for trains to function, they require tracks. Today, machines lay these tracks, but historically, this arduous and perilous task was undertaken by humans. My 'All Aboard' series pays tribute to the ingenious invention of the train and the brave men and women who laid the tracks, enabling our dreams to become reality.
