I bought these sneakers, tried them on indoors once, but they didn't fit my feet well, so I sealed them away.

They are almost brand new with no wear on the sole.

This is a collaboration product between Union and NIKE.

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Cortez in 2022, a collaboration model called "THE NIKE UN-CORTEZ" was released in partnership with the select shop "UNION" in Los Angeles.
The Nike Cortez, which continues to be loved, was the first masterpiece shoe created by Bill Bowerman, the coach of the University of Oregon's track team and one of the founders of Nike.
The name "Cortez" is derived from Fernando Cortes, who once conquered the Aztec Empire in the Mexican highlands, symbolizing the conquest of the 1968 Mexico Olympics. It was named "Cortez" and released by Nike in 1972 with the Swoosh placed on the side.
The relationship between "UNION" which is based in LA and the Cortez has deepened over time with the maturity of indigenous cultures such as music and art, and it has eventually become a sneaker symbolizing LA style.
This collaboration collection has reimagined the classic Cortez in a modern way, incorporating a design that meshes the cultural background of the Black community in LA with the Cortez, reflecting on the past and looking towards the future by using environmentally-friendly recycled materials such as Crater foam in the midsole and Nike Grind material in the outsole.
This model with collaboration features like the "UN/LA" heel marks and cork insole, as well as a special box, has a unique finish.
The simple yet timeless silhouette of the Cortez makes it a beloved classic shoe that can be worn across various styles, regardless of gender or generation.
