Mother Koala with her two babies, produced by Alva Museum Replicas in 1971. This piece captures a tender, organic "hug" between the three animals, rendered in a modernist, naturalistic style.
This sculpture belongs to a 1970s series was commissioned to celebrate wildlife in a "fine art" style.
Material – "Alvastone": This is not a light plastic or cheap resin. It is cast in Alvastone, a proprietary material used exclusively by Alva Studios. It consists of crushed natural stone and mineral compounds bonded with a high-durability resin. The result is a sculpture that is cold to the touch, heavy, and has the authentic texture and patina of carved stone.

Approx. 5 1/4" tall x 4 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" deep at the base.
