This is a vintage hand-carved wooden bowl featuring four short legs. The bowl measures approximately 11 inches in diameter and 4.5 inches tall. It has a beautiful two-tone look with a darker exterior and a lighter, warm-toned interior. Hand-tool marks and natural wear give it an authentic, rustic character.

This style of footed bowl is often associated with maybe Polynesian or Tongan “Kumete” Monkey pod style bowls traditionally used for kava. I cannot confirm its exact origin, but the form and craftsmanship are consistent with this style.
