vintage Japanese Kutani porcelain teapot with Bamboo style porcelain handle. This teapot features hand-painted bird and floral designs with extensive gold gilding. Teapots like this, especially those with a bamboo-style or wire-wrapped handle (though this one is porcelain), are common examples of mid-century Japanese ceramics, often from the Showa era. Some ware of the gold tone color especially on the pour spout. No chips or breaks, slight crack not through & through. Looks fired that way.
