This beautiful resin figurine stands 8.5” tall on a 3.5-3” base. There is a small hole in the front base. Also, the right sho may be damaged. When I arrived in Sokcho, Korea in February of ‘74 this was an image that was encountered constantly on a daily basis. The impoverished Korean woman stoically tackled her tasks in a cheerful manner. I have watched the phenomenal development of the nation these last fifty years and can’t help but think it was partially due to the fortitude of these amazing women.
