This large vintage sterling silver ring features several turquoise stones set in strip bezel laid out in geometric design. It measures about 2" in total length. The stones are domed cabs which measures 6mm wide. They are blue-green in color with reddish-brown colored matrix and are polished to a glossy finish.

This ring is vintage stock & pre-owned and shows minor signs of wear. I performed both a "hot-needle" test and a "scratch" test on the stone. Turquoise is a semi-soft stone with a rank of 5 to 6 on the Mohs scale of hardness, often requiring stabilization (polymer or wax) for jewelry use. The ring is not stamped to indicate the purity of the metal, but I tested the metal with a GTE silver acid test. The results (red) indicate sterling silver. The metal is also not magnetic.
