WEICON Repair Stick Titanium APPLICATION: WEICON Repair Stick Titanium is suitable for permanent and wear-resistant repairs and bonding of metal parts such as tanks and line pipes, aluminium, light metal and injection moulded parts, shafts and plain bearings, pumps and housings and torn threads. WEICON Repair Stick Titanium can be used in machine and plant construction, in tank and apparatus construction and in many other areas of industry. PROPERTIES: The pasty epoxy resin (titanium-filled) has a temperature resistance of -50°C to +280°C (short: up to +300°C) and a processing temperature of +10°C to +50°C. The curing temperature varies between +6°C and +65°C with a pot life of 30 min. (at 25g. preparation quantity and +20°C). The adhesive achieves its manual strength (35%) after 60 minutes, mechanical strength (50%) after 240 minutes and final hardness (100% strength) after 48 hours. In the case of larger batch quantities, faster curing occurs due to the typical reaction heat of epoxy resins (exothermic reaction). The compressive load corresponds to 80N|mm² with a gap overhang of up to max. 15mm. The shrinkage is linear and is less than 1%. QUALITY: 100% German Quality - The WEICON Repair Stick Titanium meets the highest quality requirements in compliance with physical, safety, toxicological and ecological regulations. SURFACE PRE-TREATMENT: Clean and dry surfaces (cleaning and degreasing with WEICON Surface Cleaner) are a prerequisite for perfect adhesion. STORAGE: WEICON Repair Sticks can be stored for at least 18 months in unopened condition at a constant room temperature of approx. +20°C and dry storage. Avoid exposure to sunlight.
